Our aim is to provide information and guidance on learning for example Literacy/Numeracy and training courses or employment opportunities to match your own needs and interests. We are open to all and are a confidential and unbiased organisation.
Private and confidential counselling sessions for helping with bereavement, depression, family difficulties, or personal crisis, and for anyone who may be distressed, or experiencing dissatisfaction with life, or loss of a sense of direction and purpose.

Coffee Mornings are on every Tuesday from 11am-12.00pm. And its all free.
Northside Welcome Centre’s Coffee morning will bring unique and dynamic activities for yourself, through interacting with others.
There will be: ‘sharing skills’, mini health workshops, cookery demonstrations and much more. Come along and bring your friends.
Working on mind, body and spirit, for helping people to relieve stress, and improve their general health and well-being.
Classes take place on Tuesday evenings from 7pm – 8pm and cost £3 per person.
All are welcome and wear comfortable clothing.
If English is not your main language, you can do a course to help you improve your English. These courses are called ESOL or English for Speakers of other Languages.
We have our Entry level English courses on Wednesday’s from 1.00-2.30pm and a charge of £1 for each class.
Ideal for anyone wishing to brush up their every day maths. Classes ranging from entry level to intermediate, with the option to gain OCR qualifications.
We have our Everyday Maths course on Monday 9.30 – 12.15 and Thursday 12.30 – 2.30pm.
This course will help improve your communication skills, as well as build your confidence and assertiveness. The course will cover reading and writing, punctuation and grammar, with the opportunity to take the literacy national accreditation.
WEA come and teach English Level 1-3. Currently we have a teacher called Dominic Mckeever who teaches on Fridays at 12.15 – 2.15pm. We have no vacancies at the moment, but if you are interested in coming to our English classes, please come along to our center from 11am – 1pm.
The thought of going back to work can be both exciting and daunting. Develop new skills such as communication and interview techniques, C.V. and cover letter writing, as well as effective job search skills.
We have these warm, friendly sessions with a teacher called Alison Clamp. These classes also improve your English speaking and improve your confidence.
